This time of year it's not of fun job, I did a replacement gear on mine last season, had the same issue and found a spacer/washer had been missing allowing the assembly to shift over. I suggest pulling it apart and make sure all the drift pins are intact and all your spacers are in place, you can't tell anything from your pics.
