I haven't ever heard anyone say they have, but I'm surprised no one busts a wheel rim using the "clamp on" or wheel spacer method. In my mind the "original" style dual wheel axle would be better. Puts the stress on the axle hub and not the rim. But it doesn't sound like it matters much.

Having used the set up, I had the same feeling, respectably. Its a whole new ball game in tractor stance and stability. The axels I have read about, seem to have been over-weighted, as in use with a F.E.L . The rear axels are not that thick of a diameter. I know the forum is not about my opinion,...... but I always practice keeping the wheel weights as close to the tractor as possible.
By the way, I like that/those dedicated duel wheel, rim center removed. Pretty much like what I see on some of the large agricultural farm tractors.
