It all depends on how hard you use it and how much you twist the frame. I'm convinced that the twisting is what cracks the pump adapter mounts. The Supers being longer just make the problem worse. I'll put it this way, after replacing the pump adapters on 2 rears out of Supers and having to remove broken bolts on a the rear from an 1863 I put the braces on all my stuff. The first pic is what my 2182 looked like the second pic is from the 1863.
Yah I'm thinking I'll add those on the super just for a little piece of mind. Thanks for the info Sam
