Looking at your pics, I think you have a spacer behind the pully on the S/G. Try taking the S/G pully off, remove the spacer, then replace the S/G pully. You can check to see if the belt will line up correctly without the spacer before tightening the nut for the pully. If that's not a spacer, then disregard my advice. I don't use the spacer on my S/G.
