Lay them out and measure how wide they are. Should be about 4" wider than the tire they fit. Length wise, there aren't very many sizes with a particular width,
if they are garden tractor tire chains..... In other words, if they measure 12" wide, they fit a 23-8.50X12. If they are 16" wide, they fit a 23-10.50X12. Almost all "Garden" tractors came with 12" rims. Widths varied. Now this "rule of thumb" won't apply to chains for rims with a smaller diameter than 12".
