Took some pics of my qa 42 with the bottom mount adjuster.The adjuster is left hand thread.It has a castle nut and a cotter pin to keep it from falling out.There are suppose to be 1/4 spacers between the mounting plate for the gearbox and mounting plate that attaches to the tractor.The 4 bolts are tightened up but the spacer still lets the two pieces move when you adjust the belt.
