Here's the spring assists that are used on a narrow frame cub cadet ( your 125 is a NF )

The Brinly will not work well on a hydro drive cub due to the spring hitting the hydro pump. ( I tried )

The forward spring attachment connects to the rockshaft, the precision bent 1/2" rod clear items underneath and the spring attaches to an angle bracket on the back on the frame.

It does make a good difference and is well the money.
