Oak, what have you found is the easiest way to remove the stock drive shaft in the 1772? I had the rear end out the last time to repair the cracked case, but I don't want to mess with those touchy rear end mounting bolts. Could slide engine up a hair, but maybe I am overlooking some easier way. May do one of the 3000 series updates. I don't use the tractor hardly at all anymore because my gas ones are so much smoother and I want to get it running 100% again.
