Cub Cadet knew of a issue shortly after release for a too close to the frame and was replacing these wheels at no charge at that time with offset ones. I do not know if they still have that program. Now this dose not effect the height of the tire chains rubbing, just the inside clearance. You may try cables or a lower profile tire as mentioned.
