I could see if it was a tag for a deck or something like that (and some of those are deck tags) and you was restoring, but needed a good tag for it. I've had engines that I wish had a better looking tag on them, obviously of the same make and model. However, I don't think those tags are of any real quality for a restoration.

I think the point he was at was that if one of those tags was for say, a 169, or an 800 or something, you could "build your own". Cool to hang on the wall, or a plaque or something, but not really worth much, your right. Not really "restoration quality".
