Talking Junk yarding for parts

Had some time yesterday so my co-worker and I hit the boneyards looking for parts for his deere. We struck out on finding any green parts but I found a long block Kohler M18 in a craftsman and on the way out the yard manager threw in a good bare M18 block he had put back plus a bumper all for $25. I plan on using the cam and tappets in the 1811 rebuild and now that I have a couple of spare blocks I can fix the leak in my 1862 where a PO had the gov let go and JB welded the block. I'm hoping to adapt the bumper to fit my 1862 to protect my new grill shell and hood I have coming. Now I might have to paint it,lol.
Not a bad couple of hours even if we nearly froze to death
