I love Nascar. Ya, it's all about money now days and then there are the super teams like Hendrick, JGR & Roush but that is how all sports are now. I too was a Dale Sr. fan and the sport has changed a lot since he passed. It is still a pretty good sport but I will admit that I DVR most races and speed up through the dry parts. I don't have a problem with Toyota either, they have their problems too. Dodge didn't last again but about 11 or 12 years and they are done again. I liked the small teams and my favorite driver was Robby Gordon because he was an owner/driver and I knew he would never win but I pulled for him every week. When I moved to Georgia in 1993 a buddy took me to Talladega and I was hooked on super speedways. For many years we would go there, nothing like standing up against the fence with a b.i.h. and a group of cars blow by at 200 mph, camping out for 3 days and tailgating with a bunch of good people or seeing old school buses painted black with a big #3 painted on them. I am looking forward to this years season and hope it is a good one.
