The 1862/450 has been working well. I cleared the drive portion pretty well, which is about 150' long. On my way back there is a transition from the asphalt to a 30x30 concrete pad outside my garages. The tensioner pulley caught on the concrete, polevaulted the tractor and broke the belt. The tensioner spring was stretched and the pulley was now behind the front axle. I was doing this on my lunch, and wouldn't you know it, the tractor was right outside the garage door, blocking my vehicle in.

Drug a floor jack thru the snow, jacked up the tractor and got the pulley back where it was supposed to be and put the tractor away. Tuesday nite, I got a new belt at TSC, removed the blower and the tensioner pulley and plate. I hammered the dent out of the pulley and made sure it spun free and true and replaced everything. It cleaned up the driveway fine.

The funny part is that I have been in contact with Aaron at Xtreme about ordering extensions so I can mount the 450 on my 982. I asked him if he had the dimensions on the lift links for the super also. After a few emails and pictures, I found that I already have the lift links. (~14.5" long, with a slot on one end and 3 holes on the other). Anyway, I believe that part of the problem was that I had the blower mounted on the middle hole which placed the tensioner pulley lower to the ground, along with the belt stretching, since I used this all last season with no issue. The end result is that I ordered the extensions from Aaron. Once they get here, I'll have to put a coat of paint on them and then I'm going to move the 450 to the 982 and see how it does.
