Gave it up a few years back, sorta miss it but?
Had 2 or 3 hive's for over 12 years. Got tired of sinking $$ every year & always gave my honey away during the holidays to family & friends. Then there was the moochers!
Then one day after 3 years of bees dying i got fed up cleaned up my equipment & donated everything to a County 4-H group
If you want to insure pollination for your garden & such look into solitary bee's, they do a good job.
