Yup, this is exactly why I can't live without my hydro or gear drive Cubs.

I understand that not everyone can own multiple Cubs, but if you have a hydro you probably really need a gear drive too... and vice-versa.

As much of a pain as it is, sometimes when I push snow, I do get off at the end of each row and turn the blade the other way.

I also kinda think that in many situations, when pushing snow, you gotta dig a hole at each end first so you have a place to turn around, it's just part of the deal.

Don't be fooled! Slamming a hydro from forward to reverse and back again is about the most fun you can have (with all your winter clothes on).
