That is what I will do on the next one, but I sanded this one. A lot of work was involved. The wheels were real bad. They cleaned up really good though. The original tires still hold air so I did not take them off the wheels. If your going to use your cart I would use a truck bed liner rubberized paint on the floor and inside sides. That stuff is really tough and holds up to rocks and sand.
