hmmm..... interesting. So did any of these 'options' come with the cubs direct from the factory or were all of them shipped with no options, then options added at the dealer?

Either way, it would make sense that there are 'as purchased' (as opposed to 'factory installed') tractors that could very well have been optioned out from the dealer at the time of purchase, which may not be 'correct' to the factory specs (i.e. if a dealer had a set of 3-piece rings left in stock and someone ordered a 122, and wanted lights added, the dealer would just use what they had in stock).

I was told that the 122 I picked up this past summer was purchased from the original owner (by a local small engine mechanic guy) and sold to me. ...and it's completely optioned out with everything including the rear PTO (everything except the hydro lift). ...and it's got the 3-piece headlight rings. idk, just trying to make sense of everything.

...and my late s/n 100 also has the 3-piece.

Admittedly, it's very interesting to see just how many little nuances there are to all models and the various "changes" within a relatively short period of time, that all early models saw.
