I was looking to buy a 154 last year. As I know the owner of the IHC/Case dealership and have bought CC parts from him for years. He told me that 154,s had clutch and pto problems and he advised me to buy a 184/185, as they have a little more HP and it seems some where along the line, IHC improved the clutch/PTO on those models. But everytime I find a 184/185 they seem to be in the 1800/2000$ range. So I am still looking.
