That price is way off. I'm telling you, that mag 18 in the 1872 is harder to find parts for than any of the diesels. I've been into both engines. If you think diesel parts are expensive, then your buying them in the wrong place. There is no way in the world an 1872 is worth $2k. No matter how many options it has. The real problem is as I've stated before. The idiots that pay that kind of money. Then everyone else thinks they can charge that much. The cyclops diesels like Mac's, and the 15 and 1772 are worth 2K. But ONLY if they are in great condition. The only gas tractor that might be worth that kind of money is the 2182. And that's really more because there aren't many. Burns me that the price of these is getting jacked to this point because people think they are "rare".
