A cub in Iowa or Illinois may bring $1500 and the same cub in Pennsylvania might bring $2500. I've seen stuff on Epay go for crazy money. I've seen cubs at live auctions go for crazy money. You get two bidders, educated or not, getting into a bidding war, the sky's the limit. A seller can ask whatever they want for something they're selling. If it's unrealistically high IMHO, I don't even call or check out the tractor. If someone's willing to pay their asking price, more power to them, none of my business.
