Yep. That's what I pay for mine too! I just got a REALLY good one. Made by Blue Point (Snap-On) Uses "light diffusing technology" (or so it says). Anyway. It doesn't cast a shadow while you hand is in front of the light. Oh, maybe a little, but not like other lights. It is REALLY bright too. Even got one about 3.5' long that clamps on the under side of the hood. That was like $250 or $300, I don't remember, but it's one of the best lights I ever bought. If it runs dead while using it, you can plug it in and it will just run off the cord. It's about as good as having a single 4' florescent light under the hood!
