Well boys....... the bad news verdict is in. Compression check revealed a dead cylinder, right side. That was the side I thought was the issue, and TBH, I can't believe it runs. Dropped exhaust seat on it. I'll call my engine machinist and see if he can cut in a new seat without disassembling.... but I'm not hlding my breath. Sooooo..... may get to look for a diesel after all.
