Never heard of rust converter. Might have to give it a try.

FWIW - lots of folks try to mow only when the grass is dry or clean out under their decks regularly or both, but as great of a goal as that is, for me it's impractical. Lots of demand on time, family, work and sometimes you just have to mow when the conditions aren't just right - I think of summer evenings when you try to get home from work to mow the grass, only to find a thunder storm has passed through - again!

I've started finding spare decks and shells. I clean and repaint the underside of my decks every year. Usually use slip plate type coating, but it's a given that my decks are likely going to rust out some day, so spares are what I'm doing.
