No-go
Well, I drove out to look at the 169 today... It seemed pretty solid in terms of the engine and hydro. There were a few minor issues. Minor but costly. The mowing deck was rotted thru in several places on top. The guy wasn't willing to budge on price, and since I was financially stretching (because it supposedly needed nothing), I just couldn't get in that deep.
I think a collector would probably be happy to buy it, but that's just not where I'm at. The tractor is in Fitzwilliam, NH if anyone is interested.
