Jeff, thanks man for the very knowledgeable reply! I am going to bring my cash, check it out tomorrow and I sure am hoping that it will be worth it. It sounds like a nice tractor. It reminded me of the Case/Ingersoll tractors also. I discovered a lot about the D series during my research and the 250 sounds like a really neat tractor...like a sub compact before there were subcompacts.
Now if I could find a Simplicity 9020/4040!
