Thanks for the info and the compliment. I knew I read that red axle was cast and made by IH where black was aluminum and MTD made axles. I just wasnt sure if the tractor as a whole was considered one or the other.

Ha ha, I bet there have been odd things seen. But no, this was not one of those. It turned super short to the left, but had like a 40 ft radius to the right. It was almost a zero turn to the left in fact.
