He was saying IF you don't need a stator for charging, not saying that he didn't need one. I read it wrong the first time too.
He went on to say that a stator is a cleaner set up. And, I would agree.
Thing I'm curious about on your 129 Matt is the rod for the PTO. Does it clear the starter? Or did it get modified too?

If it were me, on a 1X9, and I was going to the trouble to change the motor to an AQS, I think I'd just put an electric clutch on it too. Why not.
