I talked to some old timers and have used their technique with great results. They said get an old pair of hose, the knee-high ones will be just fine and put some garlic and moth balls in it, then tie off the end. Place on the engine or where ever you have a mouse problem and they will stay away.
Don't ask me why this works....maybe they are vampire mice or moth mice
, but has always worked for me. WARNING: Remove the pantyhose before starting your cub or if that heats up you may not want to be around your cub for a while...
