The eco-safe cleaners actually work very well and are CHEAPER than gas these days. I made that point to my co-worker and he just shrugged it off. I hope you don't!

It's like $30 for 5 gallons and you cut it with water. 5 gal is more than plenty to fill a 20 gal parts bath tank. Summit Racing and other places all sell similar stuff that works great. For nasty stuff I usually just put it in the parts bath over night or for a few days and let it do the work for me. If you're in a hurry you can scrub it with brushes just like you would with gas. When you're bath mix is too gross to continue on you just pour it down the drain.
