Tomorrow, I'm off to pick up a couple new toys, and drop some off as well. I'll be sure to post pics of the transaction, but before I go, I have a question for those of you that have hauled some large loads in your trucks. I've got a 2001 Silverado standard bed and want to know; will a 147 fit I try to put it in the front of the bed, sideways?
Think of it this way; I want to put it where a toolbox might go, right behind the cab because I have another machine I'm going to be loading behind it. Specs (and a ruler) says the truck bed is 63" wide, while Tractor Data says a 147 is 64 inches. Math says no, but I've found math can be deceiving. So what do y'all think; will it fit?
