Sounds like a crap shoot then: run with no plate, and have a higher risk of getting pulled over with a lesser fine. Run with "another" plate and run a lower risk of getting pulled over, but a higher fine.

Well, I've made my decision. I got my lights fixed (had to replace the passenger side fixture, but they all work right now). Then I "borrowed" a plate from a trailer so I now have the Illinois "TA" plate on my trailer. I hope hope hope this will get me by. I'm going to take back roads and be careful, so hopefully luck will continue to be by my side. If I get pulled over, I get pulled over. I know what risk I'm taking so it'll be my fault and my fault alone if I do.

That being said, I'm all loaded and ready to go. So, as they say, lock and load!!

I'll be sure to post pics tomorrow of my haul to and from. I'll also try to get a couple pics of the fellow member I'll be meeting up with (here's a hint: he currently has 83 posts, and is highly unlikely to up that count in the next day or so). So, here's to dumb luck!
