1650 transmission problem
I have a 1650. The transmission will not hold a constant speed on upgades/ downgrades. It slows when goin up hills and speeds up on down hills so that you are always on the speed control lever trying to maintain a constant speed. If you hold the speed control lever at a certain position and drive up hill it will slow and as you peak the hill and start down it will speed up so it is apparently slipping, although on level ground it seems very responsive (no slip) Any ideas/suggestions? Can these Sundstrand units be rebuilt? Cost?
