Just another story on Hydro fluid but I think it might do some good here. when I purchased my 1650 3 years ago I used this fluid from TSC and it made an immediate difference in noise and power. I was happy. one year later it started making a little noise again in neutral. It stayed like this till this year I bought a tiller and had to put the gear box on the rear which meant I was going to have to put a new gasket on it and drain the fluid. it was clean and just a little darker than when I put it in but I don't believe this fluid will last 20 years like the IH Hytran has done in so many machines out there. So I just bit the bullet and put the good stuff in and I'm sure its going to be in there for longer than 3 years.
