For what it's worth, I bought mine and brought it home without saying a word to my wife before hand. When I got home, I told her that I bought a tractor. Of course she was mad that I had made such a purchase without her input. When she actually saw it and realised that it was a garden tractor (and cost less than $300) she wasn't mad anymore. Something to be said for "shock value."
All jokes aside, hopefully you can get her blessing and join the Cub Club.
