I see quite a few people on here having trouble with re-sizing and rotating pictures to upload to this site. Being a computer geek, I thought I'd post a quick how-to for re-sizing pictures, and how to rotate these images, as well. Note: This guide is done under Windows 7, but should still work under Windows XP as well as Windows 8. Also, I'm not sure if this should go here, or tech tips, so I'll let you guys decide.
How to: Resize an Image
The easiest, quickest way to resize an image is to use what's called a "Powertoy" released from Microsoft for just that purpose. Once installed, it will add a an option to your right-click menu enabling 2 click resizing of any image you may have. Here's how to get that option on your computer, and put it to good use.
1) First, we need to download and install the tool. Follow this link, and it will take you to the download page:

2) Click the Download link for Image Resizer and download it to your computer. Make sure to save it to a place that will be easy to find (your "Desktop" is a good option). You'll notice there are 2 options: a 32 bit version, and a 64 bit version. Older computers tend to be the 32 bit version so try that first. If you download the wrong one, upon trying to install, it will tell you. If it does, simply return to the site, and download the other version.
3) Install this program by opening the file you just downloaded. The program will walk you through the install process.
4) Once installed, the hard part is over! Now all we need to do is resize an image, and we're done. All you need to do now is find a picture that you want to resize. Using your mouse, right click on it and select the "Resize Pictures" option. From here, select an appropriate size for the image. Small is a good start, but you'll notice that I've selected a custom option and entered my own size. Also make sure to read the options at the bottom of the window. If selected, "Resize the original pictures (don't create copies)" will overwrite your original picture with the smaller one, removing the full size original. When you're ready, click "Ok". A new image will now be created with the word "(Custom)" at the end. This is your newly resized image. From here, upload and enjoy

(I'm assuming everyone knows how to upload an image. If not, post a comment and I can add a walk-through for this as well).
How to: Rotate a picture
This is an easy one. As we did before, find the picture you want to rotate and right click on it. From there, select "Rotate Clockwise" or "Rotate Counterclockwise" to rotate your image. That's all there is to that one!
If you have any questions or trouble doing either of these tasks, feel free to ask! I'll do my best to help find a solution to your problem. Now, let's see those pics, and happy Cubbin, guys!
