We purchased a 1,000 gallon tank over ten years ago, and due to summer only buying of propane, we have never had to pay $2.00 a gallon,,,,, yet
The 800 gallons the tank holds will last us up to 3 years, we used to use more when we heated an office.
I filled ours in August,,,,,,
