If you don't have the room to throw the snow, then you would need the plow and just push way past the edge from the first snow. Like I said.. Just my 2 cents.. Don
I have the room for either. Currently I have an 11 hp ariens snow thrower, and it is difficult because I live on a lake and the wind is always blowing at me in the ideal direction that I would want to blow. The drive way is about 2 cars deep but 8 cars wide. I end up blowing one direction and then I end up reblowing the same snow as I move over, because I can only blow with the wind. This makes it hard because I have to take half cuts and for heavy snow I end up losing part of my driveway because the walk behind will not cut the bank I formed blowing in one direction. Was hoping the tractor would throw it further, of maybe the plow would work.
