This is a great topic I hope turns into some good ideas. I've toyed with this thought before over the summer but it ended in "I'd rather be mowing ". I have a 54" blade and I WISH I had some way to (even with a couple nuts and bolts) add some kind of side or "wing" to the sides of the blade. Too many times I have to make multiple passes to clean up overspill in driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, etc.

My best thought is to use something I already have that would have the added benefit of being breakaway. I've got a large section of 3/4" horse stall mat laying around. If I could somehow cut and attach some sections to the end of the blade, that would allow me to catch that overspill but still be flexible enough to "breakaway" if I hit something buried in the snow. My only problem is how do I attach these wings to the end of the blade? Any ideas?

Edit: CAD; nice pics, but if a 54" blade was too big, the solution is simple; bigger tractor!! You have a Super, don't ya?
