Someone who knows more about this may be some help here, but on every gearbox that I've had apart the thin (5/16") inner bearing has always been marked "Japan" that's why I didn't think too much about it when the only inner bearings I could find were also marked Japan.
I think the seals and other bearings that I have are made in the US.
