I have never had trouble moving snow with the QL, but, I figured a little insurance never hurt!!
The weights were added because I had them setting around.
The weights rock back and forth a little when the blade goes up or down, but, that is not an issue,,,,,,,
The bracket was built to go on the sleeve hitch, but, I could not find the sleeve hitch!!
So, I just stuck the pin in the regular hitch hole,,,,,,,,,,,
The extra 170 pounds doubles my "tire squat",,,,,,
