I ran this several times in the ultrasonic cleaner. Everything topside including the venturi and shafts look and feel new. There is a good explaination of the WHG carb at this site.

FWIW I am not responding to the gas additive discussion because I use E0 gas in my small engines. That way it does not matter what the truth is regarding ethanol I will not get bitten.
