Last summer Dad bought a used Kubota ZD326 zero turn for mowing around his place and the farm (6-8 acres a week) and I brought it home one day to mow my yard when I was in a hurry and my 12 year old who has no interest in using my 2182 wanted to learn how to drive it and and then insisted on mowing our yard with it for the rest of the year. It takes me about 2 hours to mow with the 2182 and I really like mowing with it but it's also nice to drop the mower off and have it be mowed when I come back. With the ZD326 it takes about 30 minutes to mow my yard and it does it on a couple quarts of fuel instead of 2 gallons of gas. The grass in my back yard is really thick and the 2182 with the 60" Haban struggles with it if it gets too tall but the Kubota blows through it like it's nothing. The smoothness of the 2182 is part of why I steered dad to the Kubota instead of another Cub Cadet zero turn like he had before.
