I got her calmed down a bit. First thing I did was locate a rare Rooster for free so she can start breeding them with the hen and sell fertile eggs. Then I built her a new pen. I was thinking I was almost out of the doghouse. So then I find she negotiated with the next door neighbor's daughter for my 13 year old to cut the grass. The neighbor's are extremely elderly and battling Alzheimers. SInce I am not inclined to let my son use my John Deere, the 1650 is now "his" to gas up, cut grass and learn how to repair. If he can find other cutting jobs he can have at it.
Problem is that the 1000 has now re-surfaced in her mind as unecessary. It is built as a light pulling tractor. Hmmmmm, maybe I can convince her that the 13 year old and 11 year old will need them for their Eagle Scout projects, one of which is coming soon. Otherwise it might be up for sale.
