Turning radius and cost of maintenance would be the deciding factors for me. If you have a lot trees or obstacles to mow around, I think the GT (1864) would be the one for you. I mow a Christmas tree field with mine. The 2182 is water cooled and going to be a little pricier to maintain, but would be better for large wide open areas. Both are great tractors!
