Kubota's are good engines. One of the best. But, so are Kohlers. Maybe you just owned KT's or something.
All depends on what you want. If you have a big yard, room, and you want stuff like 3PH, rear implements, plenty of power..... the SGT is the way to go. If your just looking for an awesome grass killer, and the ability for a front blade or snow blower.... maybe tug a cart, aerator, lawn sweeper.... the the GT is the way to go. Personally..... I say get both!
