Today I will get some time to look into my fuel pump issue. I have confirmed that it's not a wireing problem and is a pump issue. A few times now the tractor has died because the pump turns off sometimes just after starting the tractor. If I tap on the little black box on the side of the fuel pump the pump will start pumping again and the tractor starts right up and will run for as long as I need it to. After startup and tapping on the pump it will be fine and never die. It only will act up at first start of the day. I need to find out what's inside the black box on the side of the pump, relay mabe? I did purchase an aftermarket low pressure pump as suggested if I cannot get the original pump to be reliable. Yesterday I finally bought a new air filter and noticed the date on the old one. Wow, how do you own a $7k tractor and never replace the air filter in 25 years!! PO's are unbelievable sometimes I just don't understand!
