Hello, I've been reading about all your cubs for 3 or 4 days now, and I've been given the green light to post my situation.
I picked up another IH 147 the other day, its a good solid machine, rugged. However, the wiring harness was shot and it had been left for a couple of years with the gas still in the system, lines, carb etc. So I replaced the harness and put a carburetor on from a running 147. The thing fired up immediately, so quickly in fact that it actually gave me a start. It ran great for about 2 minutes and then died like it ran out of gas. Over and over, so I put a rebuilt carb on there. Now it will only run at a low idle, as soon as I give it the gas it dies. Does anybody know what is going on?
