also, i suppose i should mention i have 2.5 acres to mow, trees, a river, but for the most part flat...
i have 5 vintage, heavy garden tractors (a '75 cub 1250 which is my favorite, an old monkey wards 16hp beast, a '71 case 220, and a '74 gilson the tank, and working on a bolens ht 20 diesel repower) ....i dont mow with any of them...i know, im dumb....

Unless it's 150 or less I woulddnt, especially for anything over 1/2 an acre cuz it's a belt drive with a vertical shaft Briggs and for your needs a better choice is a regular old IHCC garden tractor, if you want to stay with the Cubs. Also it's montgomery ward not monkey ward
