On my 1862 I mounted mine on the drift cutters (see pic). I think I got them at Walmart. They are truck flood lights. They've been on for about 3 or 4 years without any issue. However, I do unplug my stock lights when I use these as the "Alt" light flashes on with them plugged in.
If you get 4 and your tractor can handle them, having a set on the rear would be great for backing.
