Something else to consider,
Those head mounted ign modules usually collect junk/clippings and either fail
or possibly shorting out because of moisture?? just a thought.
I have an after mkt Ign module on my m-18 and it will not produce spark @ low cranking speeds.
one of these days I'm gonna pitch it and go genuine kohler!
